Yuet Xin (Now non-active) and I was given a basic lesson on photograpy when I was Form 4. That was the first and the last photograpy lesson I went to (informally, because I am natural at taking photographs). The lesson was about the Shutter Speed and Depth of Field, while the more easily understandable subjects are the Aperture or F-stops.

That boy’s face was a picture of excitement; he was given his very first digital camera! Finally he could go out there and shoot to his heart’s content. The trouble is, how and where does he start? Being a tender 15 year old, it is understandable that he got confused with all the jargons and the symbols on his rather sophisticated digicam, but fret not. We are here to guide him in taking his first tentative step through the world of digital photography.
