Long before a boy named Au Yong Min Hao entered the 10th Kuala Lumpur Air Scouts Group, it was always a dull group with its infamous politics. Maybe because of my mystic aura, the group broke up a few weeks after their recruiting me. It was all my fault, check the Chaos Theory for more facts XD.

My first day in the scouts was (definitely) my first time in it (ain’t it?). The once stupid me on that day was searching for that scouts meeting and wondered where they had gathered, AND I met the headmaster Mr. Loo Wan Yong. I asked him where the scouts are and he briskly point the direction with his head (YES HE DID) and said nothing but “NEH!” Typical initiations, they require a brief introduction and seniors would repeatedly ask you for about 10 to 20 times for the confirmation of your name (and your sister’s age too) .

Right after that, my memory tells me it was the chief scout, Teo Chin Heng who taught me about Awas-es, Baris-es, Sedia-s and Baris-Keluar-Barises. Then recruits had the fun of kicking the Senior Scouts’ legs (not that everyone had the chance to get the ball). And so, after lotsa Boy Scouts and recruits kicking the Seniors, we won. We didn’t do much and we had to change our ‘fighting gear” and form some eggg-shaped circle like the one of a horseshoe. There, some 3.5 hours of games just ended…gee, wasn’t that boring?
